HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST PREP for 8th Graders
For an eighth season, Loyola with the support of the Riordan Foundation and collaboration with student tutors from Marymount High School and Mayfield Senior School will provide a Saturday test preparation program in English, mathematics and interview skills on campus starting October 18.  Only 8th grade boys and girls from preapproved grade schools may participate. Interested students and parents from East LA, South LA, Compton, Hollywood, Gardena, Inglewood and West LA should check with their grade school principal to see if the school is a partner for the program.  This program is provided free to charge to qualifying 8th grade students. Adult tutors, classroom supervisors, food servers, playground monitors and office aides are still needed for this program: Loyola parents and alumni and spouses are invited to serve as tutors at any of the sessions on 1/18, 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 12/6/08 & 1/10/09.  Each sesson runs from 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. To sign up contact Mr. Zeko at tzeko@loyolahs.edu or Mrs. Moran at amoran@loyolahs.edu
